2. Seattle Art Museum

Located on the first avenue,Seattle Art Museum(SAM) has an extremely welcoming lobby where you can just hang out. There are special exhibitions as well as collections from around the world and dating back to the Roman Empire.

3. Museum of Flight

Museum of Flight is a great museum for aircraft enthusiasts. This is a large museum, in three separate areas. One has great stories of aeronautic pioneers, and also has real aircraft from WWI and WWII. They have large aircrafts as well, including the first 747, Air Force One, SR71,Concorde. They have a space shuttle and a separate B-52 exhibit as well.You need at least 3-4 hours to do the entire museum, there is just so much to see

5. Pacific Science Center

Pacific Science Center is an independent, non-profit science center in Seattle, Washington with a mission to ignite curiosity and fuel a passion for discovery, experimentation, and critical thinking. Lot of interactive exhibits for the kids and very educational

6. Museum of Pop Culture

Museum of Pop Culture museum is dedicated to contemporary Pop culture, it has permanent exhibits on Nirvana, Pearl Jam and guitars of legendary players. There are also sound proof rooms where you can play a guitar and drums.

7. Museum of History & Industry

Museum of History & Industry is a history museum located near South Lake Union. MOHAI is the largest private heritage organization in Washington state, maintaining a collection of nearly 4 million artifacts, photographs, and archival materials that primarily focus on Seattle and the greater Puget Sound region.
