Amsterdam lookout is a fun place to visit. You will see a lot of blogs discussing whether it is worth visiting it or not ,but if you are a tourist, we would suggest to visit. It gives you a view of Amsterdam from a different perspective.
A’DAM LOOKOUT is an observation deck, located on top of the A’DAM Tower in Amsterdam North, with an unrivalled panoramic view of Amsterdam. You’ll see the city’s historical centre, its pulsating port, the unique Dutch polder landscape and you’ll spot the famous canals which belong to the UNESCO world heritage list. Complementing the experience is a state-of-the-art interactive exhibition about Amsterdam’s history and culture.

To reach A’DAM LOOKOUT, board the free ferry to cross the canal. The ferry shuttles every 10-15 mins.
Advance tickets for A’DAM LOOKOUT can be purchased online or can be bought at the counter itself. You will mostly get a couple of bucks off, in case you are purchasing the tickets online. If you have already got the Amsterdam pass, the visit to lookout is included.

If you want to get on the swing**(Over the Edge Swing)**, you need to pay extra 5 euros, at the rooftop counter. The ticket for swing has a time slot and there is minimum height requirement of 120 cm(in case you have kids). We did get on the swing and it was an interesting experience.

There are signs of Amsterdam on the rooftop (in case you have been searching to click some pictures). The views from top of the lookout are spectacular, overlooking all canals and city of Amsterdam.
