Gardens by the Bay is a huge, colorful, futuristic park in the bay area of Singapore. Among the standout features are the famous Supertree structures. Burrough mountain trail offers spectacular view of Mt Rainier and Emmons Glacier. We do make sure to get couple of trails in the Mt Rainier area every year, and we like to share our pictures and memories from each of our hikes. This one is from a summer starter hike in July couple of days after the road opened till Sunrise visitor center. Snow had almost melted but please check the trail conditions with rangers before heading out. We had to use our microspikes to cross some steep snowfields while crossing the mountain slopes. Something like the Kahtoola MICROspikes Footwear Traction are essential for trails like these.

Niagara falls is one of the most famous waterfall in the world and one of the top attractions in United States of America. Niagara falls is the collective name for three waterfalls(the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Horseshoe Falls) that straddle the international border between the Canadian province of Ontario and the U.S. state of New York. This is one of the most visited tourist attraction in the world with more than 15 million visitors each year. These falls are the southern end of the Niagara gorge. Horseshoe falls is located on the Canadian side while the others are located in New York. All falls can be seen from either side of the country.

We visited Montmorency Falls, as a half-day sidetrip on our roadtrip from Montreal to Quebec City, in Canada. We booked an airbnb at Boischatel during our visit to Quebec city and Montmorency Falls happened to be very close to our stay location.

The funicular railway, which is more than 100 years old, transports you to the Harder Kulm at 1322 metres above sea level in less than 10 minutes. The ride to the summit station is steep, and throughout the journey and from the top of mountains you will have magnificent views to Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau as well as Lakes Brienz and Lake Thun.

Wengen is a small Swiss tourist and farming village that isn’t just near the mountain but it is in them, well up and on the very side of one of the Alps. Just look at these pictures and you will already be in awe, we were lucky to have a clear day after continuous rain for couple of days, when the majestic Alps (Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau) opened up to views surrounding Wengen.

The Grand Place(La Grand-Place) or Grote Markt is the central square of Brussels. It is a cobbled rectangular market square, surrounded by opulent guildhalls and two larger edifices, the city’s Town Hall, and the King’s House or Breadhouse building containing the Brussels City Museum.

Zaanse Schans is a neighborhood in the Dutch town of Zaandam, near Amsterdam. It is best known for its collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses. Historic windmills and distinctive green wooden houses were relocated here to recreate the look of an 18th/19th-century village.
